The Pelican Thread Retriever is designed to locate lost IUD threads and can also be used to sound the uterus for the presence of the intra-uterine device.

1. Thumb recess for enhanced grip and control.
2. Flexible stem to sound the uterus.
3. Specifically designed notches for accurate location of the IUD threads.
4. Seven notches on either side at 10mm intervals for optimum retrieval.
5. Long handle (245mm) for ease of use and greater control.
